BURLINGAME, CALIF., August 26, 2005– The Filipino Channel (TFC), the number one Filipino network in the U.S., ended its TFC Kapamilya Circle Sweepstakes by giving away its sixth and final $25,000 award to Griselda Dandan of Kodiak, Alaska in a random drawing. TFC gave away a grand total of $150,000 to six lucky subscribers across the country as part of a sweepstakes designed to thank viewers for more than 10 great years.
Ms. Dandan is a loyal TFC subscriber via her local cable company and immediately joined the Kapamilya Circle loyalty program after seeing the first commercial air on TFC. Kapamilya Circle rewards subscribers for viewership and allows them to obtain discounts and special deals for a variety of ABS-CBN International (ABS-CBNi) products and services.
Actor Jericho Rosales, pulled Ms. Dandan’s name and “Wowowee” host, Willie Revillame, personally telephoned Ms. Dandan to tell her the great news. A special episode of “Wowowee” featuring the Dandan family aired on Wednesday, August 24. The family recently purchased a house and car so the winnings come at a perfect time for the family of five.
