1. The ABS-CBN Long Distance Direct or LDD is a long distance telephone service that gives TFC-Direct customers in the United States FREE 20 minutes of call which is worth $4.60, monthly, every billing period, through their enrolled home phone to the Philippines *.
• The FREE 20 minutes may vary depending on the country/territory being called.
• Calls in excess of the free 20 minutes or $4.60 will be charged on your TFC Universal Bill.
• Rate per minute is subject to change. Therefore, equivalent dollar value for the free minutes may change.

2. It is only available to all TFC-Direct! customers within the United States.

3. Your billing period starts on the day your TFC-Direct! Gets activated. If your TFC was activated April 15, 2004, the end date for this billing period would be May 14, 2004. This means that you need to consume your LDD Free 20 minutes within this billing period. The next set of Free 20 minutes would begin on May 15, 2004. Thus, you will receive your Free 20 minutes every 15th of the month.

4. If you do not remember the date when your TFC-Direct! was activated you can always check on your TFC-Direct’s Universal Bill. On the middle part of your bill, look for “Account Details”. Below “TFC Direct” are the inclusive dates of your subscription for TFC-Direct. The date indicated on the left side is the start date of your TFC bill, which also serves as the start date for your LDD FREE 20 minutes. You can also verify with our Customer Service toll free # 1-800-345-2465. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

5. No, it will NOT be carried over to the next billing period. Free minutes that were NOT used would automatically be forfeited.

8. To ensure the security and privacy of your account. The accountholder or person whose name appears on the TFC-Direct’s Universal Bill, is entitled to enroll their home phone. Enrollment or Activation of your LDD is FREE OF CHARGE.

12. It is not advisable to enroll your mobile phone # with our LDD, since your local cellphone carrier will charge you separately for airtime charges, even if you have used our LDD free 20 minutes*.

13. No, there would NOT be any beep/tone/message informing you that you have used up your free 20 minutes. It would NOT be cut-off automatically. It is important that you monitor or time the calls that you have made. Otherwise, you will be charged in excess of the FREE 20 minutes on the LDD.

15. No, you will only be charged for calls that you’ve exceeded beyond the allotted Free 20 minutes, plus applicable tax charges imposed by the (FCC) Federal Communications Commission. You are only charged on a “per minute” basis. There are NO connection fees and NO activation fees.

16. Yes, you can use it to call anywhere within the United States. And if you would use it to call domestic you will be given 46 minutes of free call. Since the value of the LDD free minutes is $4.60. You will be charged a competitive rate of $0.10 cents per minute if you would exceed the allotted value of the LDD free minutes.

17. Yes, you can! But the number of free minutes would adjust depending on the rate of the country being called. Remember that the value of the LDD Free 20 minutes is $4.60.

19. Yes, all calls made are registered on our database within 24 hours. Thus, we can provide you with a list of called numbers, date, time and cost. Whether you have exceeded the Free 20 minutes or not. All of this will be reflected on the next cut-off date of your TFC-Direct’s Universal Bill. Also view your bill by clicking HERE. 20. Calls to the Philippines or other countries:
From your enrolled home phone#, dial the access # which is 1-877-3317587. You will hear a voice prompt saying “ABS-CBN LDD, Pls. Enter the number you wish to call”. Then dial, 011 + country code + area code* + phone number. A voice prompt would then say: “Please wait while we connect your call”.
* In calling a cellphone to the Philippines, always drop the “0” on the area code, such as: 917 if it is 0917; 922 if it is 0922.
• Calls within the United Sates:
From your enrolled home phone#, dial the access # which is 1-877-3317587. You will hear a voice prompt saying “ABS-CBN LDD, Pls. enter the number you wish to call”. Then dial 1 + area code + phone number.

21. Yes, you can. The accountholder or person whose name appears on the TFC-Direct’s Universal Bill is empowered to request for a PIN#. This can be done by calling our Customer Service toll free # 1-800-345-2465. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

22. Yes, all customers are given a credit ceiling of $150.00. Account holders will be barred automatically from calling once the credit ceiling has been reached.

23. It would depend on 2 factors:
• You would need to settle any outstanding balance right away, if there is a pending balance on the TFC-Direct! subscription and LDD. Once payment has been posted, your LDD will automatically be unbarred after a few hours. The best mode of payment would be thru credit cards. If you wish to pay by check or money order, you can do so. But it would take within 5 to 7 working days before it gets cleared and posted.
• Advanced payments are not recommended if there are no outstanding balance on the TFC-Direct! subscription and the LDD. Advanced payments would only be credited once your bill is generated or printed-out. Thus, it may take time before you’re LDD is unbarred if this is the case.

24. Yes, you can. The accountholder or person whose name appears on the TFC-Direct’s Universal Bill can request for an upgrade in credit limit. A thorough credit investigation on your account will be done and approval process would take 2 to 3 business days. For requests in increase in credit limit please call our Customer Service toll free# 1-800-3452465. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

27. Total Amount Due in your statement of account is your long distance bill for your billing cycle. Current account balance is the total amount you have used up to date, which may include your total amount due from your outstanding bill if you have not paid for it yet.
